My chapter on Ian Rankin's Detective Rebus is about to be published in a collection called The Detectives, edited by Barry Forshaw! I sent the final proof off a few weeks ago and I'm really pleased with it.

In even more exciting news, Ian sent me some excellent answers to the ten interview questions I had sent him a while ago, and I can't wait to include them in my forthcoming Mystery Companion book! I'm back at work on the companion and will report any major developments here as things progress. In the meantime, Rankin keeps writing more books and I have to keep up with him, damn it!! I'm very much looking forward to reading the new Rebus when it comes out in the fall!
